I must be exceptionally talented at finding books to buy because I really didn't think there was anything left out there that I might want. The kobo codes made me do it.


I was a terrible reading week for me. Partly because I discovered then glommed all 100 episodes of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. So I only finished 1 book, at least it was a good one.

I got it to work in Chrome no problem (although it did list a shipping charge until I logged-in). But the requiring a CC# is a bit ridiculous.

Free books are pretty much the only ones I will "buy" directly from them anymore - pretty bad when they can make Kobo look good!

Interesting. For me the add to cart button doesn't work in Chrome. Anyway I grabbed it, but don't know if I'll ever read it since it's book six in a series.

Oh Suzie I am so sorry hon I hope you get better quick! Please don't take any necessary risks there is much worse things than spending Christmas in the hospital but I do understand I wouldn't want to either. You do have someone there watching you don't you?

If you've done the shots before it isn't a big deal, except in my case, I had a total loss of appetite and dropped a lot of weight in a short period of time. Much better to be home.

REST! READ! and more REST! (with READ! READ! thrown in of course).

Yes my ex-husband is coming to stay and take care of me and the animals. My son is home for Christmas.

Luckily since my job is work from home I can still work from bed. Just lots of rest in between.

Loss of appetite, hair loss, smell of food makes me sick.
I have taken the shots on and off since 09. Twice a day in the stomach around the belly button.

I hate having to give myself a shot.

Glad you checked in. Rest and try to relax (easier said than done!). Work when you are able and feel the need to, but schedule lots of time to read and sleep.
