I just wanted to add that I bought a whole bunch of trashy romance novels - that I do not normally spend money on!

A drink to enjoyable trash, that's what I say!

And I'll have two drinks for my love of trashy pulpish noir.

I bought the 5 X-Files novels. I enjoyed a couple of them some years ago so I thought I'd go all nostalgic.

Hmm, some Discworld books (Sourcery, Equal Rites and Monstrous Regiment) I wanted to read again, a few first books of a series I didn't know yet (Edding's Dreamers 1, Vucak's Shadow Gods 1, Niles' Star Strike 1), Halting State and Iron Sunrise by Stross and a few guilty pleasures I won't name here
About 10 books in all.
And I'm gonna use the micropay $ to get some books from my wishlist

Excellent, Gibbo.

I see you got the extra 10% discount on a purchase of over $100?

It's incredible, isn't it, when we can spend all this money and get back these large sums of additonal money added to our Micropay.

Bravo!

Don

I purchased my first book from Fictionwise: Pandora's Star by Peter F Hamilton. I already have the pBook edition unread, but it worked out so cheap I could justify a second ecopy.

I will be buying more but I wanted to see how the process went first... the answer is smoothly.

I do wish they would hurry up and end this sale. Just spent more money last night picking up American Shaolin, Soon I Will Be Invincible and all volumes of Tales of the Otori.

I'm just grateful that they didn't have Dies the Fire or I would have picked all that series up too.

Ditto. And, eeep. The 50% discount is great, but you only get it after you've bought stuff, as it were. It's a remarkably effective pricing/marketing tool for getting people to buy more!
