I think some people want to share and don't pay attention to the previous posts.

On an unrelated note, I recently "moved" to the UK, and it doesn't look like any promo codes work on the Gateway books that are on sale. Do the promo codes (especially the nice ones showing up in the current trivia contest) for the US not work in the UK?

The contest codes seem to work anywhere, but the problem is that Gateway is part of Hachette, and Hachette don't allow the retailer to discount their books in the UK.

If you're shopping for Gateway books you might want to take a nice Mexican vacation. The Gateway books aren't couponable in the UK.

Quick question for anyone trawling the thread. Are books that aren't eligible for promo code use in a certain country often eligible in other countries? I'm after Jack Kerouac's The Town and the City, bit steep at £10 here on UK kobo and was just curious.

Yes - try Norfolk Island (USD), New Zealand (NZD), Hong Kong (HKD)

Books on offer in those countries are usually able to be discounted.

Note, Kobo treats Norfolk Island as an indpendant country and costs their books in USD. The cheek!!!
