Great googley moogley! That looks like a russified version of the 700 -- already! I wonder if this means that they're planning to release it there. And if they're not ... how the red and white polka-dotted blue blazes did they get ahold of one to russify!?!?!?

Shhhh.. our russian friends have their methods... Seriously, though, it looks like it was shot in a store, what with the security cables and the stands... Maybe a Sony Style store that got their supply early. As to the russian text, it could be an embedded epub or a pdf, or of course - a hacked PRS700 |

It looks like the PRS-700's lighting system can use improvement.

Thanks for the link. Do wish they'd put up some photos without that sidelight on so I can see that you can turn the light off and that the screen then looks identical to the 505 |

You might be right. Always better to see it in person. I hope they go on display at Borders and Target soon.

One point to note is that the graphics in the document are of the 505, so I expect that all it's actually showing is that it can display East-European fonts in a PDF...

Russian text is all PDFs. The Russian version of manual was made by people from the-ebook.org forums.
