Question Epub hyperlinks in FBReader/Cool Reader

I've noticed for some time that epub links (TOC page links, footnotes) don't appear to work in FBReader (latest software updates) on the i62HD. A bit more playing about confirmed that these links do work in on the same epub under the Windows version of FBReader, and under the 'Pdf Reader' application. Under Cool Reader it appears that the TOC page links work but the footnote links don't.

Has anybody else noticed this?

I'm currently making my first attempt to do a full read-through of an epub with footnotes using PDFReader. What I'm noticing is that the 'target' for hitting the footnotes is very small, and that, even with a stylus, my i62HD is interpreting my attempts as a 'page turn' request far more frequently than as a hyperlink.

(Also PDFReader appears unable to remember my font settings between books and/or returns-to-FBReader-for-non-footnoted-books and its default font size is tiny on the i62HD.)

The reader came with a stylus (along with a whole bunch of mostly-useless junk) when I bought it from a Chinese e-tailer. When it went missing I bought a similar (but slightly slimmer) one off eBay. They are essentially a slim plastic rod, to which a soft hollow rubber bulb 'tip' is attached with a metal band.

It seems to work fairly well, and I tend to use it for anything that involves hitting a target smaller than a fingertip.
