Thanks lil' Monkey! I only ended up with an iPad Air I need to return because the screen is really bad, and audiobooks this year, so at least I still have most of my money. But thank you for the awesome thread!

I ended up with a few things as a result of this thread, so I am very thankful. My girls each got Sansa Clip zips (which they love, I already gave them), the speaker that was mentioned as a Kindle Fire special offers deal, should be here today, and my Nexus 7.2 that arrived yesterday and is the Best Tablet Ever (early birthday-by-three-months-present for me). I love deals!

I'm not shutting it down. I still plan to update the category posts on the first page through the holidays. I just don't expect much activity.

I just got an email from Newegg advertising the Nexus 7 for $159.

They don't have brick and mortar stores, but I've been buying from them online for years and they're great, IMO.

Microsoft stores in the US will be selling the Windows Venue 8 tablet for $99 and $199. But only about 20 per store.

I have not yet found a good ePub reader and annotator for this device, though.

Just keep in mind this is the old 2012 Nexus 7, not the current version. Just thought I should point that out in case it makes a difference.
