Just finished chatting with audible to get my credit added. I also left feedback about the issue. Probably it's an innocent IT coding error, but it leaves a bad taste, especially when it happens more than once.

I'm another who had to contact Audible support to get my $10.00 credit. I got the same explanation as others: my audiobooks weren't $14.95 or over (when I knew they were). I told her that I thought it was very misleading that the promo page told me that I qualified if I actually didn't. She then added the credit to my account manually. I'm happy that I eventually got the promo but I shouldn't have had to contact support for that.

I agree with AnemicOak that it likely has something to do with Whispersync for Voice. Two of the titles I purchased were W4V.

And add me to the list of those who had to contact Audible. I think they've already heard so much from so many that it was only one email and one hour later I had the $10. Never had to resort to my screen shot or a phone call…but still, they do need to figure this out.

I contacted them, and they apologized and gave me a $20 credit.

So yay, I can get Star Wars: Darth Plagueis,as I planned, and something else. Maybe a 43-hour Brandon Sanderson audiobook I'll never have time to listen to.

I don't know how I managed them. Maybe I'm too sexy for my shirt. *Looks down and realizes she's wearing a Ghost shirt with Papa Emeritus.* Naw. Nobody can be too sexy for Papa Emeritus.

I just called and they gave me $15 "for the inconvenience". Wish they'd thought I'd been as inconvenienced as you.

I got the qualifying counter and I'm not even an Audible member. I won't contact them to try to get the credit but they do need to fix the counter system!

I had the same experience, though i would have ourchased this one urban fantasy series that they had almost complete (I think it may have been Jane Yellowrock).

Maybe not everyone was inconvenienced equally. Maybe not everyone has the same customer record. Maybe people aren't all the same.

Well, three phone calls (I got dropped twice when being put on hold) and about a half hour of time, all told, repeating my story and arguing with a rep who kept insisting that one book didn't count because I got it free, constitutes rather a lot of inconvenience, I think.

It sounds to me like after the first flurry of phone calls and e-mails, perhaps they started realizing that they'd screwed up and became more apologetic, and stopped acting as though giving the customers what they were entitled to was some sort of special favor.

I didn't consider it "bragging" when people said they got extra. It's just reporting a fact.
