That clarification is quite useful. We primarily use Sigil as a "finishing" tool; the vast bulk of our XHTML is written in NoteTabPro, and quality-checked there prior to exporting it into Sigil, so that's good to know. I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me.

There came up an additional whish for some when in the fare future:
When I was playing with the picture extension, I thought it would be great to open a picture with my external picture editor like PS directly from the editor (like as with the plugin open with).
By the way, I found your preferences setup, had not recognized it before

@Divingduck: Just use copy paste to transfer any image into an image editor and back. Alternately, you can right click on the file in the file browser use Export to save it to disk and Replace to import it back from the disk.

Kovid, I detect one small problem in the file viewer left-hand: If I had selected a file and then jump to an other one with mouse right click, this new selected file will be deleted immediately instead of showing me the possible file operations. Guess, this is wrong.

I cannot reproduce that, steps I tried:

1) Click on a file
2) Right click on another file
3) The result is that the second file gets selected and the first file deselected and the menu pops up at the second file

I think the plug in system will be very useful to many people. It will allow tweak epub to be extended without having to be re-written and those features very important to particular groups, like Apple users, etc, to be included for them, but left out by the others of us who don't use them.

@ Kovid. Maybe, this is a problem in Windows? I am using Vista64bit. I made a screen shot. First one show what I try to select and second show, the file is gone but I can make a redo of the action.

I made just a test in Ubuntu 64bit. Same situation (Calibre 1.14.0). I am missing the pop-up

It is exactly the same way as you did in your post #201. But after point 2 (right click) the file selection-0002 0001 will be deleted w/o any pop-up.

The way:
1. selecting selection-0002 0002.html
2. selecting with mouse right click selection-0002 0001.html
3. selection-0002 0001.html is deleted w/o any pop-up and I can a redo with the left arrow icon in the menue to recover the file back.

Edit:
It seems, that the first menu item is active by first click (delete selected file). Only with the first click, after that I become the context menue for selection

DO you have your shift or control key pressed? Or is your mouse emitting spurious extra clicks die to bounce? I cant think of anything else that could cause that behavior.

I have re-organized the menu to move delete to the bottom so that if the first action in the menu does get accidentally triggered by a bounce click it will be less harmful.

No, I did this only with mouse action.

Let’s see, maybe there is someone else too with the same issue today. As I know how to handle it, it is not a big issue for me.

Edit: Just see your comment. Maybe this will help. I will try to test it in the next update version.

Edit2: If an EPUB have only two html files in, I cannot repeat the error; if I have more files in, I can repeat. Curios
