A friend of mine got an Asus Zenbook over the summer and has been very happy with it. Very tempting. . .

There will probably more action on Cyber Monday. Last year Open Road had a big 80% off sale that was available in both Kobo and Kindle. Samhain had a nice 40% coupon. I'm not sure but ARe might have done something.

I didn't buy much on those days last year so there must not have been anything really good going on.

Sourcebooks had a nice series of $0.99 sales in various stores before and after Christmas.

Harlequin does its however many days before Christmas sale but last year did not include the $5 coupon of the previous year but there was 1 day of 50% off (list price).

I got an email from Harlequin to be on the lookout for a Black Friday special. A 50% off sale would be nice, though the prices would be higher than Kobo's (with the 50% or more coupon).

Yes, but it's still nice for those July 2010 & earlier books that are all screwed up on Kobo.

I remember that! I bought way too many Open Road books last November. But at least I got some great classics and sagas and golden oldie blockbusters. And they're lendable. I was able to lend The Good Earth and Sophie's Choice to someone.
