Granted. You know what you want. But it is unobtainable.

Vivavldirules also knows what to wish for. It, too is unobtainable.

I wish that my wishes were not unobtainable.

Granted. Your wishes are obtainable, but only with the aid of pan dimensional, evil etc squirrels (I really must c&p the whole thing somewhere!); who are currently on strike in another dimension.

I wish I wanted to eat the chocolate the hubby got forme.

Granted. However by the time this wish was granted the squirrels had already devoured the entire lot of it plus all other chocolate for five miles around as well as the tires of your autos and bikes so you are unable to get out to get more. As your hunger for the chocolate grows so does the squirrel army massing outside your place determined to keep you in.

I wish I could get back to work on the Kant books. It seems that I just Kant get them finished.

Granted. However the pan-*yadayada* squirrels, who are not at all fond of puns, swarm you.

I wish for ever lasting peace on earth, which doesn't involve killing everyone.

Granted. Every human being is now permanently kept sleeping in a pod dreming happy dreams. I can write this, as (I can now reveal it) I'm a pan-*yadayada* squirrel in disguise.

I wish I did not wake up this early.

Granted, but you have to put the trike kit together with instructions translated into broken English from some language that looks like Martian or Korean.

I wish my suitcases were unpacked and all of that dirty laundry was clean and put away.

(BTW, I was only gone a week, and you guys added 12 pages to this thread!)

It would have only been 10, but someone kept trying to get this thread to go off topic. It woudl seem to be immune.

How was your trip? Any interesting photos you want to share?

pshrynk, are you saying that this thread is self-correcting? It may be the only thread in existance that keeps itself on topic even though there are plots and schemes to derail it, to throw it off track. How could we ever think that we could alter its train of thought?

Maybe its time for another one of Marc's pan-dimensional parties.

Granted, unfortunately it was unpacked, cleaned and put away by the underpants gnomes, which means that you will never see any of it again in your lifetime.

I wish that we would get some RAIN!!!!

Granted: MobileRead now runs on a Redundant Array of Independent Nodes. The massive cost of this new infrastructure makes it necessary for MR to become a "for pay" site. Yearly subscriptions are available for US$5,000.00.

I find this pan-dimensional, pan-topical, pan-political, pan-heretical 'pan' business to be a real pain in the skillet and wish that Peter would go back to Wendy and just stay away from me. (oops. wrong thread)
