My experience is that they are not good with emails, but excellent with 'live chat' or a phone call. When I called with the same complaint as you, they sorted it out within an hour. I got an immediate store credit.

I have also had the same issue. I purchased Michael Connelly's new book Gods of Guilt last night but there is no Adobe DRM link and it won't sync. After 2 chats (we were disconnected the first time) I was offered a credit.
However I don't want a credit as I purchased the book using the 80Nvbr code and then cancelled my Amazon preorder. A $4.30 credit isn't going to help me much when the book is either $21 at Kobo or $15 at Amazon.
So I am waiting and hoping that it is just a temporary glitch as the book is only supposed to be released today. I was very surprised when the option appeared to buy it last night. Should have realised it was too good to be true!

The books that I've downloaded with no Adobe DRM button have never gotten it after the fact, so I don't know whether they will.

I complained about this and Kobo said the publisher is responsible the lack of an Adobe DRM download.

The book I purchased was only supposed to be released today. For some reason it appeared for purchase on Kobo last night. It's still listed as a pre order on Amazon. It has now disappeared from the front page of Kobo and I can only find it by searching.
Previously I purchased a book from Kobo and the epub was not available initially. It appeared a few days later.
I will wait until it is released in the US (as it's still yesterday there) and then check again.
I can't imagine that I'm the only person in the world who plans to buy the new Michael Connelly book - I'm sure it will appear.

80Nvbr has worked twice for me .... once on the old checkout (IE9) .... and once on the new checkout (Firefox).

I got a receipt for the IE9 purchase, but not for the Firefox purchase.

Anyone else used it at least twice?

I just tried using twice, same account, in Chrome, but with the old vs. new checkout screens and it did NOT work. Does it only work in Firefox?
