The latest episode - Black Friday - (which just aired a few days ago) has our intrepid heroes in search of the latest gaming consoles on Black Friday. It soon turns into the battle of the consoles Xbox One vs PS4. Part two will air later this week. Full episode below.

Fair to say the coupon was what did it for most of us who just bought a Nexus 7 (2013)! I can't live with 16GB at the moment.

Looks as though the time to buy the 32GB model might be at some point next year -- possibly BF 2014. For now, the HDX 8.9" is twice as expensive as the N7 I picked up at a $50 discount.

This makes me even more excited! Mine will be here today. The one I saw in store looked okay but great to know off demo is even better!

I always liked the one where Apple puts all the people together into a chain, can't remember the name......

I got my Nexus 7 and it's charging. WOW I can hold it in one hand! It's that slim! Try doing that with the HDX. It's a little more weight than the HDX but the form factor makes it easier to hold without a cover. I have little hands so I am really liking that part.

It's charging now. WOW that is one short charger cable! Please someone tell me a longer alternative.

I will give it a thorough inspection later when it's done charging.

How long is your cable? My cable is about 3 feet long.

Sounds about right it's really short for reaching an outlet. It's shorter than my phone charger cables.

I haven't seen any Kobos in the BF ads. Did a search and none listed either

I plugged mine in to the extension strip I have by my reading chair, so it works fine. But it is too short for my desk.

ETA: It's not any shorter than the cord for my Sony or the phone chargers though. Are cords usually longer?

I have two outlets one by a bookcase and it too short and has to hang off it and my nightstand it's too short to reach it. I need a longer cable.
