Quick html code question...
In 'code' view I've noticed this: in some of my paragraphs, but not in most others. Is it doing anything, or can I run through my text and remove them all? Is it something to do with line length/justification, or what? NOT to be confused with switching to italics and back again, obviously.
Thanks, |

That depends on what class="text3" is. Check your stylesheet for the
Code:
.text3 { ... } |

Also check what class the previous span is (which would end with the ) - if it is text3 class then you should be safe

Quote:
and the closing . This is what will be affected by "class="text3"". Look in your stylesheet to see what this does. It's an arbritary label, it could be defined as almost anything! This could be the beginning of you learning about HTML and css. Or it could be you preparing to break your eBook. Uninformed "tidying up" is one of the most destructive things a computer user can do. At least make a copy of your file before experimenting! |

Yes, if text3 doesn't do anything, just delete THAT span. If it does do something, BUT the previous span is ALSO text3, delete the to merge the two sections together.
If both spans do noting, then delete both. If you are going to make use of code view, you might want to learn html + css so you can use it properly, and more importantly, SAFELY. |
