Mark as unread?
Hi all,

Is there a way to mark a book as unread?

When I copy new books on my Aura HD I tend to open them just to make sure everything's fine, but then the books are marked as 1% read. There's an option to mark a book as read, but I couldn't find one to mark it as unread.

The released firmware doesn't have a way to do it.

If you are are a calibre user, you can reset the reading status using my Kobo Utilities plugin.

Do you open the book to just the cover page, or do you move on from the cover page?

If it's the latter, try moving back to the cover page and then exit the book and see if it is still reported as being 1% read.

I cannot say all apps / devices will reset to "unread" like this, but iOS certainly seems to. I had a book that was 18% read, opened it, went back to the cover page, then checked and found it was listed as Unread.

I've just tried going back to the cover: The in-book stat says 0% read, but going back to the home screen and then to the list of books in my library it says 1% read.

Yes, the iOS app will do that, but the ereader (at least my GLO) will not.
