Fictionwise Micropay Sale - thru Sept. 30

Mobipocket tools won't do it-- you need ereader2html.py and Python installed. However it does work quite well at least in my experience.

I believe BookonBoard does allow you to use their MicroPay just like any other payment system with no restriction, but am not sure as have not bought from them in a long while.

Perhaps someone who know can comment on that

Not quite without restriction. The restriction is you cannot use micropay if the rebate is 30% or more.

Generally, but definitely not always the case.

Tis OK. And I do have 0.04 MobiDeDRM.py as well as 0.02 & 0.01 (just in case).

Thanks for Clarifying. i'ne not bought anything from them in ages so I was not sure. and I was half remembering other discission in other threads.

But correct me if I'm wrong, but they do allow part payment by Micropay and Credit Card or are they like fictionalise that you have to choose one or the other form of payment

Mobi DeDRM has really simplified my life now.

Once I buy a book, I download it straight to separate folder I've kept with all the scripts and Sample bat files and quickly run Mobi DeDRM (am using 0.4 now, and its really simplified the process of not having to go by trial and error). Then Delete the DRM Protected (Infested) Version.

Then Run Mobi2Html (MobiHuff when needed rarely) to creat a Archival copy.

Then Fire up Book Designer to Convert it to LRF for the Sony.

Finally save all the different versions to a single Title folder in my eBooks Library.

All in all that takes about 2 to 3 minutes in total per title
