Ginger has been my DW's sovereign remedy for nausea. Personally, it's not a problem I've had much difficulty with. Thank goodness, since I have plenty of other issues!

Today, almost no sleep, up early working on some serious tech edit. But then, several mugs worth of a Dan Cong Oolong, which was better than I had any hope of. Now running on total empty.

Nice. And a great source of Vitamin C, I'm told. But for me, a return to a favourite - Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend. This year's version wasn't quite up to last year's, but it's still quite a nice start to the day.

Water from the tap although I prefer filtered. I used to drink 3 cans of Diet Coke per day, and I gave it up a year ago. That is why I am so proud to tell everyone I am drinking tap water!

Well you should be! It's a tough habit to break. I know all to well.

Early evening Bombay Sapphire to celebrate my new driving license (motorcycle)...part 1. License test #2 (car) is tomorrow. Here they are separate cards. If only the Japanese bike test had been as easy... LOL!

Well, lets reword that a bit to read: I can be really, really safe in "MY" driving. It says nothing about the insanity of the all the rest of the drivers around me. This is the only country I know of where driving the 'wrong' way on a one-way street is common. I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for it, and there was no mention of one-way streets in the licensing book, despite the fact that 25% of the streets ARE one-way.

Tomorrow will be the car test. I wonder if the proctor will watch? He didn't today during the motorcycle test. Oh well, one more Bombay Sapphire before bed won't hurt. At least I won't have to take more written tests or sit through a silly lecture in Thai!
