Glad to see you both back here posting!

Bricorn, did you mean you missed reading Fool Moon (The Dresden Files #2) from this current re-read or that you missed re-read #2 in anticipation of the release last year of Cold Days (The Dresden Files #14)?

LtDan & Cowboy Al. If you really like audio books then you both, IMHO, made a big mistake as I very much liked the work done by John Glover especially as a last moment fill-in artist.

Yes, James Marsters does Cold Days, I believe it was simply a scheduling conflict that prevented him from doing Ghost Story. John Glover does a fine job in Ghost Story, I certainly am not enjoying it any less, it's just that I'm used to James Marsters.

Don't worry Alansplace, I'm in here most everyday, just don't post a lot.

My re-read of Changes was just plain awesome!

I've skipped all the associated short stories during this re-read, So I've decided to add them here toward the end of the re-read. There are 7 short stories (Curses, Even Hand, AAAA Wizardry, B is for Bigfoot, I Was a Teenage Bigfoot, Bigfoot on Campus and Bombshells) that I'm aware of that haven't yet made it into a Dresden Files collection including Bombshells, which hasn't yet been published anywhere (will be in December). And then there's Side Jobs (Stories From the Dresden Files) which I'm reading next.

The reason I say that is that there is no actual proof that the 3rd of December is the actual release date. Plus, Fantastic Fictions says 2014 (no specif date, just the year). This is why I'm a bit skeptical.

I'm up to "Changes". When I look at the Kobo shop, I found two versions. I'll probably buy the cheaper, but I was wondering if there is real difference. Anyone know?

The first one appears to not be available, and the second one is the only result when searching the website for "changes jim butcher" so I'm guessing the first link is some sort of prepublishing placeholder.

I know on amazon you sometimes find ASINs for copies of a book that are unreachable from their website search but are still linked elsewhere and remain valid. I think it happens when the publisher uploads an edited version (maybe they fix the ToC or update the title or whatever) and accidentally submits it as a new version.

EDIT: On second thought I see you're from Australia. Maybe the first link is for a magical Australian version? What do I know?
