Since Downpour now owns AudioGo US, why aren't they migrating all of those purchases over to Downpour? Seems a bit tacky to not do so.

Again, let this serve as a reminder to "liberate" all of your digital purchases and to store copies on physical storage media you own. You never know when a store will go out of business and the new owners won't care about your previous purchases.

I just finished A Canticle for Leibowitz yesterday. Interesting novel, very good narration.

I believe today is the last day to use your $10 credit on Audible if you got one during their "use 4 credits, get $10" promo last month. I finally used mine up yesterday.

Did I miss posting that one? Even though I don't have a credit membership, I do try to get the details of those offers so I can keep track of expiration dates.

It does look promising. I think I'll check it out from the library and listen to it over Thanksgiving.

I think the email came from Audible 9/18. I'm pretty sure the credit expires today, and it would be just like me to forget to use it and thus lose it.

Went back and checked. I did add it. melmac even supplied the link. Unfortunately, the link didn't list an expiration for the $10 credit; so I never posted one and removed the offer when it expired. I try to keep offers on the OP until all parts of them expire. Blew it on this one, though.

I agree. I don't seem to have the original email from after the merger was complete, but it said that previous purchases would remain available on Audiogo.com and I was annoyed that they didn't migrate my purchases over.

Fortunately, since these were in DRM-free MP3, liberating isn't necessary, but keeping a copy in case the cloud goes away is always a good idea.

I received an email on Oct 20 from Audible saying that if i used two credits by the 25th I would get a free credit on the 31st. I did that and it never showed. I called and he fixed it. He said there was a "glitch". Not sure if he meant just in my account or in Audible's system. I just thought I should point it out. So if you earned the free credit make sure you received it.

My daughter just checked and she never got hers either.

I got an email with a link I had to follow to "activate" the free credit, but I got it just fine after that. Glad they fixed your for you.
