No problem. I am a Nook girl and I love not only the DRM free but the choice. So many authors to find in my favorite genre.

I also buy mostly at Amazon these days, for my Kindles. But AR has a buy-10-get-one-free and the book was the same price at both stores, so it was worth the inconvenience of side-loading it to the kindle.

I don't typically read westerns. Thought that the storylines sounded interesting, and they were short so if I didn't enjoy one I'd just skip to the next.

You don't even have to sideload if you don't want to. You can set it up in your ARe account settings so that you can email the book to your Kindle right from their site.

I'm so glad to hear you liked it! I love her Mackenzie series, and this was on my TBB list, but I hadn't gotten around to making the purchase. It seems to me that a lot of books are going on sale a little after being released at full price, so waiting has become my default unless I just can't wait to read it. It would have been a real bummer to still have it on your TBR if you'd bought it at the higher price!
