I've listed some current prices for the Sansa Clips (including refurbs). If you see lower pricing, let me know and I'll add them.

I'm slowly populating these lists with links and prices; and will update them throughout the holiday season. Let me know if you'd like other items added.

I didn't even know I could get skins! Interesting--it always annoys me that only the 4gb versions have fun colors. This could be fun!

If you're not looking for a PS4, then you might scout a deal on the GTA5 500GB bundle. If we had a giant monitor or TV at my home, I'd have thought about looking for that on BF myself.

Another place for you to look for deals on consoles: Here on CAG.

Still, if I were serious about a PS3, I'd want the earlier model that allows you to rip SACDs for as long as you refrain from updating the FW. To my knowledge, nothing else does that.

I am looking at the older models currently because of PS2 compatibility. I read the newer ones just don't work with previous generations and I would like to get rid of the PS2 but if the PS3 wont play our games then that just complicates everything.

I don't think the newer systems even interests us or the idea of cloud gaming. We just got Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii and hubby just hated the idea of letting anyone visit his town. So you see we are not into social gaming.

I read the 40GB or 60GB are backwards compatible so I might have to visit eBay on this one. Still I am keeping the eye out on the newer models if they go low enough then I just might get one and have to keep the PS2. We still have our Gamecube which we never use.

The Wii will play those.

Shopping Tips

make sure all account information is up-to-date at stores you plan to shop at
smart monkeys do their Black Friday shopping online
wear a football uniform if you plan on shopping at Walmart
download leaked ads as soon as possible - stores have ordered take downs
free gift cards only have value if they're from stores you normally shop at
always get the one with the bigger gee bees

Important Account Information

Go through all of the online store accounts you currently have and update them now. Personal information changes over time and you may have neglected to make those changes; especially at stores you only order from during Black Friday. For stores you plan on shopping at that aren't on this list, set up those accounts now. You won't have time to do so once the doorbusters go live.

login - can you still do so? if not, update your username and password
email - make sure your email address is current, because this is the address they send order confirmations and other correspondence to
address - make sure your home, shipping, and billing addresses are current
credit card - make sure the card, account number, expiration date, 3-digit security code, and billing address are accurate and up-to-date

Remember - when shopping online during Black Friday doorbusters, every second counts. If you have to stop and make account changes, you'll lose your deal.

It'll be added. These lists are time consuming to populate with models and links; and that requires frequent editing. The problem is, you're only allowed so many edits in a short period of time before you get cut off. By the time I'm allowed back in, I've usually moved on to something else.

Before your post, I was in the middle of editing the lists when I got cut off. I was separating the tablets and ereaders into separate posts so I can expand them.

It's a tortoise and hare thing. I want to be a hare, but the system is making me be a tortoise.
