Yup, I rarely go out knowing I am going to have time on my hands. I like to read in long chunks. The games I play require 15-30 minutes to complete. I don't feel the need to be on the internet at all hours.

(shrugs)

So I have a cell phone on me but I don't pay for a data plan. And other then that, I am good to go.

As for me, I never leave home without an ereader. Which one depends on where I am going. If it's a trip that requires lots of walking, my Kobo Mini. If it's lots of walking a dark, my Kobo Glo. If it's not a lot of walking, either Kobo or my Paperwhite 2. Depending on which device the book I am reading is on.

I always have my 3" phone and mp3 player in my bag, too.

I don't take my tablets unless I am going overnight.

My paperwhite goes with me everywhere. My phone usually goes with me, but I often forget it. If I'm going to be driving alone and for any distance, my iPod Nano goes with me for the audiobooks.

You'll never catch me without something to read.

If I'm going somewhere with the kids, I may have my first gen iPad with me for them to share. If I know I'll definitely have time to read, I'll bring my Nook HD+ too.

I'm a purse addict and a reading addict, so I always have my iPhone 4 (which I never liked reading on till Marvin), and almost always my Nook HD. I don't even buy a purse anymore without checking to see if my HD will fit.

On the other hand my job involves lots of travel, and I spend a couple of nights a week in a hotel more often than not, so for me, the ability to "get on with my life" when I'm in a hotel room is important. Kindle for leasure reading; Surface Pro for my studying (and ebook editing).
