PRS-700 screen type?

same vizplex-type screen as the 505? a bit whiter background and darker text would have been nice.. oh well.

Yes, it's the same display, but the controller seems to be a newer one. Vizplex is the latest version of e-ink, so it's the best available. E-Ink, Inc.'s research and development schedule just isn't something Sony can control.
