I really liked the search also. Can you search for one word as easily with the Kindle?

You have to type the word in to search for it.

Wow......that is fast, but I thought it was supposed to do away with the flashing to black to update the page? This was noted as one of the mechanisms used to speed up the display. Not a big deal, but it does seem to be a discrepancy from what was shared as a change from the 505.

Love the viideo - thanks for posting it. Love the PRS-700, but my PRS-505 is only ten months old, so guess I will have to wait. Unless there is a rebate offer on my 505 LOL.

No you can highlight a word and the search field will be filled in with it.

He's responding to how word searches are done on the Kindle in comparison to the 700.

The touch screen functionalities are cool, but the little bloke sure is on the ugly side of the force. I mean, I enjoyed my buttons not-cheap-chromed.

Now I wish I could get a landscape dvorak touch keyboard to touch type my notes as well as anything else on the go. No stylus hunt and peck for me no sir!

p.s. Is it just me or did that bookmark go a little hard on him ? Easy, lady!

Looks like the $100 price difference is well justified here with all those goodies added into the 700.

The woman showing the 700 said that it can hold more books, i guess they expanded the internal memory as well.

according to sonystyle.ca it has "512MB of internal storage available and infinite storage via Memory Stick media or SD Memory Card slots." Infinite eh?
