I would take Mister. His descriptions remind me of Roger, cat I had once.

and I can hardly wait for Skin Game... wish he was two books ahead so we wouldn't have to wait so long. Based on recommendation, while waiting for Jim Butcher, I have ordered the Benedict Jacka books.

Also, what a really cute little girl. Congratulations to Alansplace.

First of all I'm quite happy that at least the first novel, Storm Front, seems to be written in an English that's not too hard to understand if you're not a native speaker.

It is quite readable for non-native speakers. And, the books only gets better in the beginning. After a couple of books he retains his high standard and sometimes has positive surprises.
