Anyone else having trouble purchasing from Kobo with a Credit Card. It keeps telling me Unexpected Error has occurred. I had to switch to PayPal to get it to go through.

How many books have you bought? It often gives me that error if I buy 10 books in a row. I then have to wait from 1 to 24 hours before it will work again.

Contact Paypal to enter the dispute if they wont listen. Paypal is really good on fixing things like that.

The thing is my cards are by two different banks and One a Mastercard it refuses to take at any time since the new site and now my Visa which I use all the time. Paying with Paypal I get charge foreign transaction fees.

I just pay the fees via paypal. easier that dealing with having my CC continually shut down for suspected fraud (either the 99 cent purchases, the pre-auths or the out of country issue; I've had them all).

The problem for me is that comes out of our bank. Hubby would not be happy. I use my CC through PayPal which is separate but I have to login for each purchase which means waiting for them to text me a security code each time. I'd rather use my card.

I just used MC on the Aus Kobo site using IE9 and it went through okay. (I used BookRiot50)

A couple of weeks ago I recall that I did have trouble trying to pay and gave up. Glad I did because I borrowed the paper book of the title from my local library and after 30 or so pages I gave it a miss.

I've just spent nearly half an hour trying multiple books, and not one was coupon eligible.
What the point in issuing coupons if the vast majority of te books wont accept the coupons
