That's interesting ... Vouchercodes is showing:

VoucherCode30

as being available from:

15 February 2013 to 1 January 2014.

I check the Vouchercodes site periodically and I don't recall that this was there from 15 Feb this year.

Oh well, there's another code - no idea if it's single or multi-use though.

Edit

I just checked Goat's post on page 1 and he/she has it included already and as it doesn't state that it's multi-use it must be single use.

Well, a couple of weeks to go before it has to be tested anyways!!

I might regret I asked, but ... is there a list of the recommended reading order for that collection? Which book would you start with? Just asking in case I one day decide to dive into it, strictly hypothetically speaking!

The print books usually have a timeline printed near the front of the book. The ebooks should also have it, but I'm not sure of its placement. The more recent ebooks also have about half a dozen samples, one for each major "era" in the setting, along with a little intro about that time period.

Yes as Rev. Bob said each book (including ebooks) has a timeline near the front. The latest have them after the Acknowledgements. The newer the book, the more up-to-date the timeline.

There is also the internet, I found this site to be pretty comprehensive. It looks like all the books that are out to date and as far as I can tell the book images with rounded corners are the young adult novels which I don't/haven't read. I should also note that the Star Wars Expanded Universe is also just that... expanding. There seems to be at least 1 new book out a year, usually 2-3. So it can be hard to keep up.

Thanks, guys! So if I see this correctly, there is not strictly a need to read the books in the chronological order of the timeline, but I could pick individual sub-series/trilogies and read those independently, depending on interest?

Yes, although references are made in some books to past ones. Some also make reference to Luke turning to the Dark Side and Leia saving him. Those references are to the Dark Horse comic series Dark Empire.

Currently I am working my way from the beginning (as it is now) to the end. It will be my first time Previously I've done what you are suggesting and skipped around as books/trilogies etc. caught my interest.

For those of you who were having trouble with the code not applying. The way I finally got it to work for me was going to Kobo site, clicking on 'my account', then click on 'payment information', then select 'Home' from there and start shopping after that. It's worked for me every single time I do this. Not going to question why, just know it did work!
Hope it helps someone else. Happy shopping til Oct 15!

Weird; I've read that all books are code eligible now?

I've been using IE to access the "older version" of the Kobo website, from where I would then use my coupon codes. (The coupon codes are not working for me on the "newer" site). Arrrgh.

Well, now the "older" site doesn't show the same books as being eligible for codes as were eligible a few days ago.

And dang, it's September 30....

In the US they are. They aren't in Canada, not sure about elsewhere.

I've tried several books now -- all showing as "Code Eligible" (and I'm in the U.S., so that shouldn't matter) -- but when I get to the checkout screen, there isn't even an option for codes.

I've successfully bought several books with codes over the past 2 weeks, so I know how it's supposed to work -- and it ain't! No idea what's going on....

Here in Australia, it only offers gift card options for most, but here and there they have in the checkout an option for codes. You can't seem to tell up front which ones that will work with though.

Have you checked Sony US for these pubs?

Is their 40% off still on?
