It is strange. She's tried to get them to put it out herself and even referred readers to the methods they can use to request it from Harlequin. For whatever reason they haven't done it, it's odd especially since they already have done the digital conversion.

I love Julie Miller's books, too, and I am not amazed at all that she is a lovely person on top of being a good writer. I am entirely breathless right now. I never used the Kobo 50% coupon until today (was too busy) but right now I discovered that it works not just on the titles that show up as reduced already on the listings but on every single title I have clicked on so far! (fans herself) That's going to be one expensive weekend. |

OK, I'll go before I lose my nerve. Most of these are planned new release purchases but a lot are "gosh, how do I not buy these when I can slap a 50% code on top of an already steep publisher discount" impulse buys. Next week shouldn't be so bad (I hope). 31 total for $54.47 |

Hey guys: I am new to this community but enjoy reading your posts. I've noticed a lot of discussion about Kobo and swagbucks. I have a Kindle and an iPad - can I buy ebooks from Kobo and read on my Kindle? How do you get the Kobo coupons? What's the deal with Swagbucks? Thanks very much Michelle |

Here are my books through yesterday, I won't count today because it's not over yet, who knows what I'll end up buying! Run To You - Rachel Gibson I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars. I really like RG, but as much as I enjoy her books I always wish she would develop the romance just a little bit more. What is good, could be awesome. Never the less, she's an autobuy for me. $3.99 from Kobo with the code. Immortals: The Haunting - Robin T. Popp Haven't read this yet, but read several books in the series (by various authors) a few years ago and enjoyed them. .99 from Amazon Fires of Winter - Roberta Gellis I'll buy any decent deal of a Roberta Gellis book. This one is $2.99 at Amazon. |

I had a banner week this past week on book purchases. First, let me start off by saying that I think I was sleep when someone posted about the Kobo 50% of code or perhaps it just wasn't registering because for some reason, I didn't jump right on it. Well - fast forward to 9/24 and oh boy! Knowing this coupon is expiring on 9/30/13 - I immediately went to my Amazon wishlist to decide what to purchase and I made out like a bandit!! Purchased 49 books for a grand total of $59.77 or $60 bucks! WOW! More importantly, most of the books were on my wishlist in order to complete gaps in series. For example, I have had Sharon Sala's QUEEN on my list FORVER - it has been constantly hovering around the $7.00 mark. Using the 50% coupon was able to snag it for $3.49!! Woot Hoo! Again - I don't what I was thinking waiting until the last minute! All I can say, is it must have been a brain moment! Hope everyone had a good e-book purchasing week! You can put Kobo books on your Kindle if you strip the DRM. Unfortunately, since it might be illegal one can't really post all the steps necessary to do that here. I do think it's okay to say that it would be helpful for you if you use Calibre and then google Apprentice Alf's blog to find some further details. It takes a bit of effort and searching around, but if I can do it, anyone can! I don't understand Swagbucks, I'm looking forward to hearing more about that. | |
