I've only read the first book (loved it) but I've put all the bundles on my wishlist. As long as Kobo continues to be coupon-generous there's hope of getting them all.

Okay I got to give Kudos to Kobo! I just bought a book:

Hit Reply by Roxi St Claire who is Roxanne St Claire.

The epub and desktop app both showed there is no book inside just the intro of the book which is 12 pages. I click the Chat help and within 8 minutes I have store credit. The only thing was I used a 65% off coupon on this book that they couldn't give that back.

Still I am impressed at how fast the problem was taken care of. It's probably the most positive experience I have had with Kobo Support.

Yeah. I really like the chat. And the last time they offered me store credit or a credit card refund. They did say the credit card refund would take several days. I took the store credit since I had more books to buy. But it was nice to be offered the option.

They gave me both options too. I told her she was awesome.
I message the author on Facebook. I don't know if she has any weight in getting it fixed but she is in the loop now.

It's a $16 book I got it for $5 with coupon so I got the $5 back. This is one book I am going to have get a gently used paperback.

They are working on getting Sweden added. It was mention two months ago. I will keep an eye open for when it happens and let mikaelalind know.

I have this series on the TBR for this year but I think it will be moved to next year.

*waves* I'm here, been on a reading jag! Thanks for the heads up and for thinking of me! I've had this one for awhile, but of course haven't read it yet. I'm trying to get through a bunch of '1st in series' where 2nd in series are just out or coming out. I think I'm done with the publisher ones at least... Juggling this with Kobo sale, organized my Rockstar books in my TBR pile [finally] and oh yeah, keeping up on my full-time-Mom-wife duties!

Oh good was afraid you disappeared on us! Happy to hear you are getting alot of reading in though but don't be a stranger, k!

So the author got back to me about her book being broke on Kobo. She pretty much has given up on the publisher so she doesn't think they will do anything about it. She is sending me a hard copy though. How awesome is that!

That is so sweet!

I've had two authors do that for me (one sent me print of a book which has not been released digitally so I'd have the whole series, one sent me a clean ePub) and I feel like that's going above and beyond.

It is and just go to show we got some amazing authors out there who actually are really nice people. Which authors was it do you mind me asking? I am more incline to buy books from authors who are super nice like that.

You always hear about authors who behave badly. I think we should give kudos to authors who do go above and beyond.

Oh Julie Miller is one of my favorite HQ authors. She got me into reading the Intrigue line. I was hooked as soon as I read One Good Man. I have to check Dee Tenorio out.

Yeah I had all of the Julie Miller books in print and I somehow lost book one in my move. Wanted to buy it in digital but noticed it was not out yet (at the time there were three of her titles not released) so I emailed her to ask if she knew when it would be out. And she sent me a print copy. It was very kind of her to do. I then purchased all of her titles on digital so I'd have them on my reader.

The Kindle Daily Deal today (8/29) is Susanna Kearsley's The Rose Garden, for $1.99. And it looks like the WhisperSync for Voice is only $1.99, also. I've heard a lot of great things about her, but I've not read anything by her. Looks like this is my chance!

The odd thing is book one is available from Mills & Boon AU (bundled with book 2), so there's a digital version already created by Hqn/M&B, but despite repeated requests from fans and the author Harlequin still hasn't made it available.

You guys got me hooked on her books during the big Harlequin $4 coupon fest.
