I just bought a bad book. Kobo refunded the money but I lost my coupon.

I have to say I am impressed with the new Chat support form Kobo. It took less than 10 minutes to get store credit for it.

That happened with me once. I used about 5 coupon codes and the books were all pirated scans. Kobo refunded them, but I lost the coupons. Fortunately, you have an active 50% unlimited code that helps soften the blow.

A code angel sent me a coupon. So I am happy. I am going to be more careful on the older books. This was a pocket book though. You would think it would be okay.

Don't be so sure. I bought Stephen King's It only to find out that the copyright page was wrong - then checked a paperback copy in the store today and found the same error! In addition, it looks like his Four Past Midnight has OCR errors; the beginning of the first chapter says "POR" instead of "FOR" and another story is titled "The The Library Policeman".

Nope, Big Six is no guarantee of quality, especially in ebooks made more than a couple of years ago. The new books have problems, too, but at least they're different ones...

OCR errors I can take. It's missing pages that is the problem. I got a $16 book with 12 pages. The story and everything was missing.

I wish you could work out if you can use a code before going through to the checkout, is there a trick?

And of course, if you could load up multiple books in one go, rather than one at a time.

You can use the same account. Just go into payment information and change country to US and leave everything else (including your Aus address) the same.

Edit: Or as apesmom says change to Mexico and see if it's cheaper there. For example, Blossom's bad book is $13.69 in Mexico plus coupon eligible.

Edit #2: Mexico still uses old site to check for Epub download.
