All my equipment is under my name as well. My wife has taken the Glo and I currently use the Mini. I agree that if the Mini had a frontlight it would be the ultimate. It's a really great size, so much so that even though I miss the Glo's light, newer/better firmware, and larger size, the Mini is what I use since it fits in a shirt pocket or tucked in with my lunch.

I have all the devices listed in my signature and use them all for reading at one time or the other. The Mini is my traveling reader, the Paperwhite for upstairs and I use the HD+ for everything else. If I were the OP I would definitely get an eink reader fir reading when it is not convenient with the tablet. If size and weight are considerations, then the Mini would be a great choice.

If you're looking for something to take on the go, a six inch e-ink reader might be the way to go. You might also want to consider a phablet or seven inch tablet. Last edited by faithbw; 09-20-2013 at 11:30 AM. |

I own a 5" and a 6" ereader, I also have a tablet but it doesn't count as it's not for reading.

I am trying to justify my 4th or maybe 5th ereader not counting tablets. I imagine I will be able to
![]() I would suggest just buying one. If you don't think it is absolutely wonderful you can always return it. Pretty sure you will like it whichever one you chose. Helen |

I've got a couple ereaders plus a couple tablets. The tablets are for comics and PDFs. but none of them are as large as 10 inches.

I could manage with one ebook reader, but I am one of those that have several.
I leave two at home in my bedroom all the time (both 6" e-ink) and one in my work backpack (10" tablet). I also have a tablet (10") that I take that around with me when I *know* I'll be reading it, such as to the kids' swim or dance classes. I only bought one of those devices for reading -- the others came to me for one reason or another and I've adapted them to conveniently suit my reading habits. |

I have 1 kindle paperwhite, 2 Kobo minis and a nook simple touch. I also have a 10 inch and 8 inch tablet that I use for reading and I occasionally use my ipod touch and mobile phone for reading in short bursts.

I have 3 ebook readers, well 4 technically. I have a Kindle Keyboard (stays at home, a Nook Simple Touch (stays at home mostly), a Kindle 6 inch (in my purse always) and a Nook HD (technically, my Itouch also lets me read ebooks, but I rarely use it for that these days).
I bought the HD soley because I was caring for a sick relative for 5 months and the lighting in his home for reading was just terrible. They had a special on the HD and I really wanted to try a tablet. Since he didn't have wifi, updates or web surfing was limited to hospital visits. It's actually too heavy for comfortable reading (or maybe I was simply spoiled with the ereaders), but it handles magazines and pdf files far better than my ereaders, so I decided to keep it once I got home. Lending: Yes, sometimes I lend my kindle to a friend or family member, but it's the 6 inch one that is lent. It cost $50 and wouldn't kill me if it was lost or damaged. |
