Greetings
Greetings. My name is Jack. I live in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. I am an avid book reader, from comic books and graphic novels to religious texts to science-fiction. I am also a bit of a technophile. For the past three years, I've read books on tablets, mainly through the Barnes & Noble Nook app. I recently decided that I wanted an ebook reader, so I can read outside and so I can read at night without a tablet's backlight disturbing my sleep rhythm.

Since I've used the Barnes & Noble Nook app for years, the obvious choice of an ebook reader is the Nook Simple Touch. But Barnes & Noble seems to be experiencing some... turbulence with no obvious path out, and the Nook Simple Touch is two years old. After some research (including this very forum), the two ebook reader contenders were the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2 and the Kobo Aura. However, I couldn't make up my mind between the two ereaders as they both seem very good for different reasons, so I wound up pre-ordering both.

I look forward to spending more time here and getting to know y'all and both of my new ereaders, and learning how to manage my ebook collection between the Kindle Paperwhite 2 and Kobo Aura.

Sadly, no, not yet. I pre-ordered it but have yet to receive it. My scheduled delivery date is October 4th, IIRC.
