Black goes with almost everything.

If your jacket is blue, and your handbag is a nice, complementary orange, then how are you going to use a pink cover? That doesn't fly. Guys like me will run away screaming.

No, you haven't suddenly met a hugely fashion-concious man. I take pictures and (sometimes) design websites. I should know colors. At least the basics...

Orange, red, purple and pink. With this combination, which was really a new thing , and for many fashion afficionado a no-no at the time , Kenzo made a fortune.

I have always been a big fan of his clothes and color combination. And he definitely was a precursor.

But it is nice. Ever seen a Kenzo scarf or dress ? It is really nice.. Or let's say I like them.

My fave for the covers is persimmon, but immediately after that comes purple. Told ya'!

I looooooooooove mixing red, orange, pink and purple!! These colors combined make me happy, and all my gadgets have a variation of the above. In my red and orange gadget bag I have:

Red ipod T, Pink ipod N, hot pink case around Nexus 4, red cover on Nexus 7, red cover on iPad, purple cover on PW1, pink and yellow stylus, red stylus, pink stylus (one can never have enough styli), purple and red camera case to house hot pink camera. I'll have to post a picture - yes, it's bright, but so is the sun, and how happy does sunshine make us!

ETA: Going to check out those Kenzo scarves now.

But if you look for the kenzo scarves, try to find some vintage ones. And by that, I mean at least 10 years old. The new ones are all flowery and girly, but not as daring in terms of color combination as they used to be .

I purchased the royal purple along with my PW2 preorder. It just arrived in the mail today, and I love it. Absolutely gorgeous color.

I small part of me wishes that I had known about the inexpensive faux-leather covers that a previous poster mentioned, but not enough to actually bother making the return.

Don't even sweat it! The purple cover is gorgeous, and in a couple of weeks, the price difference will be completely forgotten.

October 2nd needs to hurry up and get here. I already have my case and ordered my skin

I have the same skin on my soon-to-be-gifted K3; took me a couple of hours to match the custom skin layout to my old screensaver. I thought about changing it up a bit, but.... nah!
