Yellow Tea with yogurt. I have been making my own yogurt these days. 1/2 cup fruit, squish it a bit to get jusices out, 6 ounces of non-fat plain yogurt, squirt of agave nectar for sweetness. Yummy.

Nothing but plain water this morning, since I have to go take my annual round of blood tests. I am hungry and cranky, and want my Peet's English Breakfast tea.

hmm Last time I had blood drawn I was told that tea was ok.
Water right now, more tea in a little bit. Munching on a pepper from the garden as part of my lunch. Gotta love fresh, fresh food. |

Depends on what you're having done. IAC, it's over now, and I've had my usual morning breakfast, including some added fried tomatoes. With fresh squeezed OJ and my Peet's English Breakfast tea

![]() The place that I eat everyday at noon, They can feed you cat and you'll never know, Once they wrap it up in dough, boys, They fry it real crisp in dough. Did you ever think when you eat Chinese, It ain't pork or chicken, but a fat siamese, Yet the food tastes great, so ya don't complain, but that's not chicken in your chicken chow mein. Seems to me I ordered sweet and sour pork, But Garfield's on my fork, He's purrin here on my fork... There's a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon, The place that I eat everyday at noon, They can feed you cat and you'll never know, Once they wrap it up in dough, boys, They fry it real crisp in dough. Chou Lin asked if I wanted more, As he was dialin up his buddy at the old pet store, I said not today, I lost my apettite, There's two cats in my belly and they want to fight, I was suckin on a Rolaid and a Tums or two, When I swear I heard it mew, boy, And that is when I knew... ![]() ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8zEfYbsrr0 ) Korea has banned dog meat for sale. I wonder when China will ban cat? And God only knows what the stuff on the BBQ stick was that we ate last night back up in the hills... But it sure tasted good! Good morning, everyone! The East India Company has provided me with a lovely "Assam" tea this morning, to go along with a plate of something that is a delightful shade of mahogany but tastes more like lime. I like it. I have no idea what it is, but I like it! Oh well, as long as it stays on my plate without moving it will make a perfect breakfast! Adventures in good eating! I love it! Stitchawl |

Not quite 5:00, but I'm up drinking coffee and getting ready for my early flight to San Diego. I'm going out there for the first time in years - should be fun!
Hopefully no cat involved, lol, but a couple of the Chinese students invited me and my sister and the young couple that hosted them when they first flew in to a meal in their apartment. They have, I believe, 4 plates, 4 bowls, 2 cooking pots, a serving bowl or 2 and a rice cooker. The kitchen in this high rise student apartment is more of a nook. Both of them are more used to their mothers doing the cooking than doing it themselves. And yet they prepared this delicious meal for us: a pork dish, a chicken dish, and a beef dish. They borrowed chairs from fellow students and bummed a ride that morning to the international farmers market on the north side of town to do the shopping. I am humbled by the hospitality of these young people... |

That looks good enough to eat!! Home-cooked Chinese food is best!
I'm drinking a late afternoon mug of unbranded Keemun tea, and getting ready to go play music tonight! Stitchawl |
