Free and bargain romance ebooks in September 2013

I wasn't so good but I did get 14 books for $22.73 (average of $1.62) and that included all my remaining new releases and some items off my lower tier wish lists. I really don't anticipate buying anything this week, there's nothing I'm waiting for but I could still fall prey to a Kindle Daily Deal or a big HarperCollins sale.

I've had some fun with Calibre this week, I created a virtual library that shows purchases' made during the last 7 days so I'm going to do a visual report this week. See attached for my damage.

I had a feeling you'd be getting the Striker's book too.

I was interested in Blue Forever just based on the cover alone but since it's #3 in a series I didn't bite. Have you read the first 2, is the series any good?

I read the first one and ended up enjoying it.

Full disclosure, it took me a long time to get through the first third of it as the hero was a jerk and the heroine so inept at eveything I wondered how she managed to get through her day I kept setting it aside. But I loved the setting (scientists on board an old Russian submarine in the Bering Sea) so didn't DNF it. The book picks up a lot in the second half and I ended up quite liking both the h/h. The plot is very OTT, but if you like action/adventure/spy stories I think you'll enjoy it.

I have book 2 in my TBR pile. So plan to read both 2 and 3 soon.

Another series for me to try! I have her Thrill series so I need to read that first. Yeah..that will keep me from buying more. lol

That sounds like my thing. I'll add #1 to my Tier 2 pile and maybe get it when/if there's another Kobo contest.

I can't blame sickness on my lack of sudden organization. It's more like Swagbucks taking up my PC time but hey I've made $300 and I am getting a new Kindle with some of it so it's all good right?

Yes I am! I'm waiting to see if the covers go on sale and then I will order both. The great thing is I don't have to wait for my bday or skip some meals to get the new Kindle this year.

I'll try to put my list tomorrow although it won't be so pretty (calibre is not my main library). apesmom, I hope you enjoy Magic bites. I love that series, although the last book has been a bit disappointing.
