I've read books 1-5 (I really like this series ). The books are kind of like trilogies within a series with the first three centering on 3 sisters, and the next 3 centering on 3 girlfriends. The only thing the two trilogies have in common is the Lucky Harbor setting. Also, the occasional character from the first trilogy shows up in the second, but they are never central to the story.

In the first trilogy, you could read them out of order, but you'd get more out of them if you read in order. The 3 sisters all had separate fathers and never lived together for any length of time, so in addition to the smoking hot romances, the books also feature the growth of the sisters' relationship.

In the second trilogy, you wouldn't be missing much at all if you read them out of order.

So there's a new Kindle Paperwhite coming in October? Would it be worth waiting for that or if a sale happens on the older ones grab that do you think? I'm still sort of waiting to see what Sony comes out with because I love my T1, but, doesn't hurt to keep an eye out for a good deal.

I do most of my reading on my tablet (using Mantano) but I do use my paperwhite outside in bright light and when I'm charging my tablet. I honestly don't know what they could do to the hardware to improve it significantly. Maybe if I used it more I would have some hardware gripes but the only things I don't like are software issues and those would likely be upgraded to match whatever the new version can/will do.
