One of the indies I've had on my wish list just dropped to $0.99 on Kindle. According to the author's blog it will be on sale all month and the 2nd book, Friends without Benefits, will be free for 2-3 days after it's first released in Oct. It has 4.18 stars from 1200+ ratings on Goodreads and is supposed to be funny.

Do not pay any attention to the naked chest cover. Mary Balogh had no choice as her publisher pretty much forced her with these new sexy covers. It does not describe her work at all. Her books are like Traditional Regency but with sex. I put her right up there with Loretta Chase. She is an amazing storyteller. As I've follow her on Facebook I've come to know She is an author who holds the English language is the highest regard. No modern phrases in her books! She's an autobuy for me and one of the few authors I would paid full price for. I didn't realize this was out and at such an amazing price.

As you can tell she is a favorite for me. I am slowly collecting her backlist as it comes out in ebook.
