Marvin for iPhone and iPod touch submitted to the App Store

Hello everyone. Just wanted to let you know that the update to Marvin for iPad and Marvin for iPhone and iPod touch have been submitted to the App Store for review.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for contributing with your ideas. Special thanks to the beta team who, as usual, did an absolutely fantastic job.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is Marvin? What does it do and how would I benefit from using it? Thanks.

@Shykat Usually 5 days (iPad). Since iPhone and iPod are a is app they might take a bit longer. Hopefully, they won't find any issues, reject it, and ask for a resubmission.

@Stitchawl Marvin is an eBook reader for iPad and, very soon, for iPhone and iPod touch.

IMHO, the BEST reader app! I am partial and NO, I don't work for Marvin. Just really love this ereader app.

That's a great recommendation, but I'd still love to know what it is that makes it such a good e-reader. WHY do you really love this app?

"Dumb" and "Smart" are great words, but how do they apply to an e-reader?
Sorry, I'm not trying to be obtuse. I'd really like to know what makes this application so good. What does it do that iBooks doesn't do? Does it handle more formats? Can it resize text? Does it annotate?

Yeah, the first thing that got me to switch from Stanza to Marvin (after 1 day of using Marvin) were its annotation capabilities. Marvin allows you to export all your annotations from a book in a single file, HTML or XLS, for example. iBooks and Kindle are too dumb to allow that.

Also, Marvin is very versatile in allowing you to customise your reading experience: lots of fonts, dozens upon dozens of font and background colours. Again, iBooks, Kindle and their ilk are extremely crude, limiting you to a handful of fonts (not to mention font or background colours).
