Fixed. Yes I am tried and it's the first day of school here which means Hubby is having a melt down about his classes. It happens every semester. I am married to such a drama king! Of course he got maybe 5 hours of sleep too. He never sleeps well before a new semester starts.

Maybe the dogs new it was National Dog Day and felt left out seeing their owners leave 7AM and get home at 7PM. I don't envy all the clean up they have to do because there is no way I could hold it that long!

A little bit but seeing they don't train their dogs only yell or hit them I don't think she will any time soon. I like dogs really I do. I am trying to still like dogs but it's getting harder with them coming through the walls in my small apartment. I have two cats who barely make a sound. They are my children so I understand how some love their dogs the same way. I've owned dogs in my youth but I don't remember them being this noisy.

I used to despite dogs. Then I met my husband's family, who love dogs and who have always had dogs, and gradually came to realize that I do like dogs. In fact, I love them, for lots of good reasons. It's just that until I met their dogs, the only dogs I ever knew were poorly trained and lacking in manners in every way possible.

Having spent far too much time around horses in my youth, I maintain the very firm opinion that if you need to raise your voice or threaten violence to make an animal obey you, then you're doing it wrong. Someone needs to explain that to your neighbors. For crying out loud, dogs WANT to be told what to do. It's really not that hard!

I feel sorry for the poor animals then. They don't deserve to be hit or yelled at all the time. And being cooped up in doors all day can't be any fun either.

They are! They teach us how to talk to the dogs in a way they understand. It's amazing how much easier it is to live with a puppy when she understands you when you tell her no to something....

I totally agree with everything you said. I have seen good behaving dogs that do what they are told. Cats on the other hand never listen to anything you tell them to do. At least mine think I am here to serve them and don't dare I buy something without getting them something too. I admit my babies are spoiled rotten.

I've never live next door to someone with that many dogs before. I live in a 900Sq Foot two story apartment. Where do they put them all I wonder?

Now back on topic I love romances with dogs in it. I've been know to buy a romance that has a doggie on it.

if your cats are anything like mine, they still remember, vividly, what their lives were like back when they were worshiped as gods by the ancient Egyptians. And they miss it...

(That said, they can be trained. You just need to give them a good reason to obey you.)
