Couple of $.99 deals today, both on my wishlist. The first [Spiral] has mixed reviews and 3.95 only rating at GR and sounds like a love it or hate it kind of thing, but I'm intrigued by the premise and clicked it anyways. The second [Keep Me Still] follows my usual protocol [over 4 at GR, and it's also available at Kobo & is couponable.

Note: I know these are late. My neighbor now has 3 dogs! Count them 1...2..3..in that small apartment next to me. One is a lab, One is a hound beagle and she had 6 puppies and they kept 1. The new puppy not only constantly whines, barks but yelps like someone is killing it constantly! This gets the mama upsets and if you ever heard of a hound bark you know how loud and different is it from a lab barking. Once the mama goes crazy the lab joins in with the puppy yelping. It's been going on and off for two weeks now but today this has been going on ALL FREAKIN DAY!!!! I've had very little sleep. So now you know why I am late.

Really! The one in my avi has just been amusing himself by running upstairs, dropping a tennis ball down the stairs and chasing it down. He's done that four times now. Poor dog... no one ever [NOT] plays with him!

I've gotten a lot of free Barbara Freethy but I've yet to read her. Maybe one of these days... (famous last words of a book collector!)...

I've heard people compare Robyn Carr to her before but I have not read her books yet.

I'm just finishing up reformatting the computer (again) and my dog acts as if I haven't fed or paid any attention to him all week (not true). We had a long walk earlier today, but it was so muggy out he plopped down in the neighbor's yard when we got back and didn't want to move. I almost had to carry him into the house
