Unable to delete Archive items

I'm sure there's a simple answer for this leaving me with egg on my face, but on my Kindle Keyboard I cannot delete two archived publications to which I have subscribed, which appear to have been moved there automatically.

These are not the normal last-6 or so back issues in the Back Issues folder. They are random issues of the subscribed publication, dating back many months. There's no delete option on the device (i.e. right-clicking does not work) and nor can I find any way to delete them using Manage Your Kindle online.

They're not doing any harm squatting there forever on my Kindle, but it offends my sense of order!

They are not on your Kindle. The Archive lists those items which you've bought, and which are NOT present on your device. They are on Amazon's servers.

Thanks Harry. The problem is that they are random issues of a subscribed periodical which, being anally challenged, I would prefer not to have displayed on my Kindle. I couldn't find any way to delete them using Manage Your Kindle on the Amazon server. Am I stuck with these two absolutely random publications displaying forever on my Kindle?

You should be able to remove them from the "Manage Your Kindle" page on Amazon's web site. If they aren't showing up there for some reason, and you want them gone forever, contact Amazon CS and they should be able to delete them for you, but bear in mind that once they're gone, they're gone forever.

I had the same problem. It did not bug me very much - but I had other issues (old periodicals not auto-archiving) so I had to contact Amazon CS anyhow - and they solved both problems.
