Keep an eye on it, I haven't seen any memory leaks while calibre is sitting doing nothing myself, so it would help to be able to identify some activity that causes a leak.

Could it be posible to show the title under the cover in the Cover Grid? Even better a configurable option.

@kreti In version 0.9.43, if you hover the mouse over the cover the title and author display as a tooltip.

I have background colour as Dark (Charcoal) Grey, as a consequence I find the blue used to highlight current book 'hard to see', could there be an preference to set the highlight colour and maybe make it thicker.

This is in theory doable, but because of the way the drawing of the selection and hover highlights works (it is delegated to the Qt style) this is rather more work than I am willing to undertake, patches welcome.

I believe the highlight color comes from the OS.

Update: Based on Kovid's last post I guess I was wrong.

If its more than two minutes effort its not worth doing. I'll just use a lighter shade of dark

Aaah... I see what's happening, the bright shiny blue fades to washed Denim when I drive it from the Book Information window

Im running 64 bit Linux Mint and use a Kobo Glo. I had no problems running Calibre with the newdb. I added new books to the library and transferred books to my Kobo. I run Calibre without plugins.

OK, it happened again and I tracked it down to one of 3 PI i had just used.
Generate Cover PI 1.5.12 does not seem to give it all back (even if you abort)
