How to read a Hindi font Kobo book on Nook?
I have bought a new Hindi novel on the Kobo store. It works/shows fine on the Kobo application on my desktop. But when I transfer the same book via Adobe digital edition software to my Nook tablet it opens as a bunch of garbage - small vertical rectangles instead of the text.
Is it because the font used in the book is Hindi? And is there a way to read the same book on Nook tablet? Last edited by Dr. Drib; 08-07-2013 at 07:46 AM. |

I am just guessing. The embedded font might be obfuscated in a way that only Kobo applications can use it. Maybe it helps if you delete the embedded font or replace it by another, or change the font face related entries in the css.
Edit: I presume there is unicode Hindi font installed on your Nook. |
