Not so much 'wrong' as too general.

But as no one is being as specific as I had hoped, here are the top 3 rainiest places on earth;

I looked it up. I remember the event (although I wasn't a fan), but I would never have guessed the Irish Spring soap involvement, as I've never heard of the brand before.

I thought the show's other big secret was a much larger event. But not connected with Irish Spring Soap.

I find it funny that the bar soap brand Irish Spring is unknown in Great Britain. The more so that it was sold in West Germany when I was there in 1985; as Irischer Frühling.

Anyway given Pdurrant's comments I'm guessing that it was a big even in an imaginary world, probably some much anticipated episode of a very popular television series? I'd actually hazard a specific guess, but I don't want to be on the hook for the next quiz question. One uses soap in the shower, yes?

Indeed! This remains one of the few plot twists/reversals that was successfully kept secret until airing. The film crew believed they were filming a commercial.
