Mysterious Samsung Daynote - destined to challenge Amazon?
Color us skeptics on this one, but Phandroid is speculating and wishfully-thinking about a new device from Samsung that could challenge Amazon's alleged dominance in the world of E Ink devices. The talk is about the Samsung Daynote. Nothing more than the trademark application to go on at the moment, but hey, it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. Quote:

If they were going to do that, why would they have sold Liquavista?

It's probably a new app for the Note 3 most likely.

Their last attempt at e-ink didn't work out so well. I like Samsung and own some of their various products (TVs, Refrigerator, GS3). Maybe they don't need to rule "everything".

I still use and treasure my Keyboard Kindle 3G. Sure the navigation key is slow, but not the reading, and I am always connected. I would like to see someone beat that "total package." |

Are you saying that your kk 3g with 2900 mobi books arranged in collections" is now obsolete AND unusable (unreadable)? If so, that is terrible! What a waste!

it is usable.it works fine. i just don't use it as the kobo mini and the nook are much better. the kobo mini in my shirt pocket with 9000 books. the nook rooted and with sd card slot with 30000 books and a light and a file browser and apps which can read ANY book is just amazing.
