I just got a 32GB USB so I could back up my iTunes and music folder. Normally I would have gone with my months old backup, but I just recently added about 35 songs, so it seemed better to go with USB. I also added the iTunes folder from My Music which should have the other file iTunes need when I restore. I'm not quite as anal about my iTunes metadata as I am about my Calibre metadata, but close

Plus I spent a lot of time organizing it and downloading covers from online. iTunes didn't seem to recognize a lot of my early 80s British and German music.

So as soon as all of that finishes transferring (and I do one more check to ensure I didn't miss anything) I will start the reformat.

I hope everything is back up and running by the end of the Kobo contest. If not I will just use my laptop to get the books I want and wait to download them. A few days if necessary shouldn't make me too twitchy - lol.

Thanks for the tip on how to back up your Calibre settings. I had to buy a new laptop not too long when the other one took a fall and had to go to the 'hospital'. My hard drive was intact but the technician was taking too long to extract the data so I restored my Calibre library from my Mozy backup. It worked great but re-configuring (and remembering!) my previous settings was a drag.

Ha, I know the feeling! When I got the chickenpox years ago, my husband quarantined me to the bedroom and he slept in the living room (we had a tiny place then). He would barely want to speak with me when he came home from work on afternoons; he would listen to me ask about his day or talk about mine for about 10 minutes before he would relegate me back to the room. I've repaid him many times over since then, though

Yes, Ms Enabler Extraordinaire, I saw that, LOL! I'm dithering with the idea of getting the 10-book bundle (I don't think this one is available to the US store); that would cost me $26.04 with a 65% coupon (which I'm almost 100% certain came from the same gracious source as yours). Then I can get Tangle of Need ($8.69 right now) and Heart of Obsidian ($12.59 right now) when the price drops to $6.59 each, which is my regular local price for most Penguin books. Decisions, decisions ...

I can mail them for the cost of the shipping. They're used...and I probably bought them used, but I didn't want to get rid of them until I could get ebook replacements.

Just FYI, the sets are available in the US store, but not all of the stores from other countries.

I usually just search Nora Roberts and sort by most recent then browse to see what sets there are. Sadly, I already bought a bunch individually, so I can't really take advantage of the sets. But maybe I will do so when I get around to buying the rest of the MacGregors.

I grabbed the two MacGregor sets yesterday. Thanks to the Kobo coupon fairy I was able to get the entire series for $26.66 w/tax.

I think I bought the the ones put out my HQ I will have to check. I know my library has pretty much all her books that on ebook.

Off topic but I just took a Survey for 50 Shades of Grey

Got 50 Swagbucks for it. I can't say what it was about do to privacy policy but this is the second book survey I've taken there. Last one was Maximum Ride.

Here or some of the ones I've recently aquired or am considering - of course you need to go on "vacation" to use codes for some of these. BTW, going on "vacation" will frequently get you a better deal too!

Just started the reformatting on my PC. I wiped everything and repartioned the drive just to be sure I get rid of this virus/malware/whatever it is. I took some pictures with my phone of what I had on each drive so I don't forget.

While I was waiting for everything to back up earlier I finished reading Dee Tenorio's Trust in Me. I would normally read series books in order, but I asked Jane at DA if this would work as a standalone and it did. I had some issues with the plot but really liked the hero. The book is still on sale direct from Samhain 30%. I used a Kobo coupon the other day to buy it. I put the earlier books in the series on my wish list.

Just thought I'd mention it if anyone is looking for a contemporary.

As an aside I do not like typing on my phone.
Sheesh I have fumble fingers lol.
