IN Australia, we are WAY behind you guys with speed. Mine tops out at about 1-1.2MB up. We are getting a fibre service sooner or later which will improve things, but I won't be able to afford to pay for it, in fact, what I *could* afford on the fibre service will be slower than that which I currently get. My down speed is about 14MB (max at 24MB but my line quality prevents that)

Today, its 9.7 down and 1.1 up.

The download isn't bad but yeah your upload is a tad slow.
I pay $54.99USD+tax for my internet. I am finding this is really cheap as other cable companies charge more.

I pay about the same (Comcast), but from what I hear it's much cheaper/better in many parts of Europe.

My speeds are 30/4. Time Warner wants $80 for that tier. When we move it looks like I will miss my cheap internet.

Well I can say Dropbox speeds are about the same as Copy. I'm uploading 2GB and I am getting 460kbps Usually it around 1mbps. With Copy I am getting about 467kbps.

I just do not like Dropbox program update because since I updated several month ago it's been acting wonky and now my speeds seem to be slower.

You might consider what I'm doing then. I use SugarSync for only my Calibre Library and Copy for all else, especially my photos I don't want to lose, which are larger files to begin with.

SugarSync works perfectly to download directly to my Kobo Glo without any hitches at all (also to my phone should you ever want to use that). It starts you out with 6.1GB (5GB to start, 500MB for the referral, and 625MB for completing certain initial tasks). So it's already more than 3x the size of DropBox. Get more friends to signup and you can keep adding 500MB amounts for each referral, up to a max of 32GB for free accounts.

It has a very nice interface, is easy to use, and the trick with just using shortcuts to folders works perfectly with SugarSync so you don't have to move any folder locations. I've been very happy with it for my ebooks.

Thanks, I have Sugarsync and do use it, but for other things. MY ebook library isnt huge, so Dropbox is sufficient, I just thought it would be nice to have it mirrored in Copy as well. Perhaps I will only use it as a backup, rather than for access to the books. I've tried uploading my entire iphoto library but that was fraught with snailpace and 90GB is a lot to be uploading, as a snail. I need to reorganise so will look at that later. Lord knows, I now have a ton of space on Copy.

I really do hope they fix it for you Kobo users. I use the Android app. I own Kindles so I don't need to directly download to my ereader. I can open the copy app and email the book to my Kindle using the app from my phone or tablet.

Added: Just have to say Copy speeds are improving! I am getting close to 1mbps upload now instead 460kbps.

Honestly I'd be perfectly happy even without wifi on a reader (have never missed it on my Sony 350s), but since the Kobo Glo has it, I figured I might as well set it up and make use of it. I always have between 200-300 unread books on my reader, so it's not like I'd ever be in a situation of not having something to read. And as already said, SugarSync works flawlessly with the Kobo.

Still, it would be nice if everything worked for all readers so we wouldn't need multiple cloud storage sites.

I don't really need multiple storage just more space. My Calibre Library is 12GB and growing! You see with Kindles you get 5GB of Cloud space for your Personal Documents which in my case are books I've bought ether outside of Amazon or Amazon books that needed to be cleaned up in Calibre. I keep about 75 books on the Kindle but most of it stays on their cloud till I am ready to read it. I have about 100 books on the cloud. This isn't even counting the Amazon books which I think now I have close to 6000 in my archive on their server. I couldn't live without this feature. It's the reason I stay with Kindle.

I do shop at Kobo. I think I have about 500 books I've bought over the years. I just can't stay away from those coupons!

Oh I just try going to their website and it crashed! It looks like this isn't a Kobo issue even. I am betting it's a website issue. I keep getting the script has not responded message on Firefox.
So I guess I need to report this issue now.

Okay so Firefox and Chrome it freezes but IE9 it works. It looks to me that there isn't testing being done on the website for other browsers.

Edit: I have submitted a ticket with screenshots. I even tried safe mode but the site still freezes. It also freezes using the Android app browser. The Android app works fine though.

If any of you are having the same behavior please report it to Support so we can get this fix! It's not device specific as first thought it's who ever coded the website didn't take into account no one uses IE anymore.

Do they have a mobile version of their site? If so what's the url? I can't find it to test with.

Note: I have 12GB uploaded so I am wondering if it just can't handle the load. If anyone with just a few files uploaded has the same thing happen to them let me know.

It looks like Dropbox (and SugarSync?) are still the best options for using with your Calibre library then?

I signed up for Copy via someone's link on here a while back, but so far have just used it as back-up for files. Thankfully I haven't quite filled my Dropbox account yet but I've never had any extra space (so anyone who doesn't yet use Dropbox feel free to click on the link in my signature to sign up!) so will eventually.

It does look very interesting. I have a 100G Dropbox account at the same price as the Copy 250G. I've been quite happy with Dropbox, but will be even happier if Copy pushes them to storage-match.
thank you and karma :-)

On the use of shortcut/links to put folders in Copy, I can also confirm that deleting the link from the Copy folder does not delete the whole folder (in Dropbox, and perhaps in Copy too, if for any reason you no longer want to sync a folder and delete it from the Dropbox folder, the whole thing goes - in this respect the shortcut/link method looks quite safe).

Grateful if anyone who still has not signed up could use my link

I wonder for how long the 5GB referral will go on, as when Copy launched in March it was definitely less generous:

It's just happens when I try to access my Storage using their website with Chrome or Firefox. IE9 works though. I don't think it can handle alot of files. I can get to their site in Chrome or Firefox and look around but when I click on my Calibre Folder it lists the subfolders and then freezes.
