Holiday Sparks by Shannon Stacey



House-sitting for her parents seemed like a good idea, until the microwave blew up and the lights went out.

That's a pretty generic label, I've found. I've seen it with romance as a minor theme and with no real romance at all (or just use for anything with female characters or something "women would like to read").

It may or may not fit as romance, but I thought it worth picking up, to go with her other work.

For me Romance is a HEA or HFN ending with the h/h otherwise I don't read it. ChikLit I think most of the time has a HEA or HFN ending but Women Fiction doesn't always have it.

Well it's my Vacation time! *does party dance* No more having to deal with hubby antics for awhile as I am wore out! He is doing great! His parents get to take care of him for a few days. I needed the break badly. I've been ill myself for the past 3 days but I am feeling much better today.

So I plan to sit back and catch up on reading finally!. Watch the BBC's Pride & Prejudice series that Kg3 sent me. So I will finally get to see it! Eat some munchies and relax with my two cats. It's a girl's weekend. Me, Maisy and Sweetpea.

Enjoy your vacation. Glad you will have the chance to relax. And enjoy P&P. Is it the 1995 Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle version (by far the best IMO) or the 1980 Elizabeth Garvie/David Rintoul version (which I also own)? Both were BBC productions.

The 1995 one. A very wonderful person sent it to me so I can finally see it. I don't know what I am going to do with myself. I think some naps would be very good to add in there. The cats are already doing just that. They feel neglected this last week so going to give them plenty of attention to make up for it.

I've got two more chapters of my book to finish then I need something new. I am reading YA Novel called Storm by Brigid Kemmerer. Pretty good doesn't need alot of attention or emotion so a quick read which was perfect for when hubby was napping.

Not sure it's entirely happy, but I do see Romance applied as a tag and in many of the reviews (pro and Amazon). It's also classified as romance by the author (or the original publisher).
