Yes, you are missing three options. There is an entry field under "Copy generated..." plus "Dismiss New Book Tiles" and "Block Kobo Analytics DB". A couple of the description take more than one line. If you make the dialog wider, the others might appear.

Similar problem here seeing the "Accept / Cancel" buttons, even with the dialogue taking up the full screen width and the task bar hidden.

I didn't think a 1024 x 768 display was all that ancient !

I think that many developers forget that for many folk, That is their biggest (or only display). That is my (USB attached) Auxiliary Monitor

that I use for notes/reference while I work on my 2 (set at for tired eyes) 1440x900 Lower Monitors

I would say the best option is to open a "Wishlist" bug against calibre (https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre) and ask to see if it's possible for the QT window to scroll when the window is taller than the screen. Or if it already does that, then ask for the window to be opened at no taller than the screen height. And in the meantime, I'll avoid adding any options

Sure it's possible, this is done in many calibre dialogs, for example the preferences dialogs, or edit metadata dialog. Just resize them to make them smaller and see the scrollbar appear. If you want your dialog to work like that, you just have to implement the necessary code.

I'm just using the standard calibre.devices.usbms.deviceconfig.DeviceConfig dialog, the same one the mainline Kobo driver uses, which looks like it uses a calibre.gui2.device_drivers.configwidget.ConfigWid get instance. It's late for me so I'll take a look tomorrow evening sometime. I'm basically starting from asking Google for "how-to PyQT" and looking at the files under calibre.gui2.preferences so any resources or other calibre classes you recommend looking at would be appreciated

Re-implement config_widget() in your class and wrap the widget returned by the base class in a QScrollArea. You will also need to re-implement save_settings() to unwrap the widget and pass it to the base class.

I had a look a while ago at implementing this as a tabbed dialog. It was taken a lot from the MTP driver configuration. My thought was to put the common options (down to the save template) on one tab, and the driver specific options on one or more tabs. Part of the reason was the size of the dialog, but I also wanted to see if I could add relationships between the options. I'll have to see if I still have the code but it might have gotten lost when cleaned up after the GIT migration.

I got a small prob while sending an epub to my KGlo.
This is what I read:

Well. That was surprisingly easy. I'm just waiting for something to blow up on me, GUI programming has never worked that well for me the first time around

Anyone who just can't wait till I get the next release rolled (I'm looking at all you people with screens less than 1440x900) can grab the code from the GitHub repo. I've got a couple more things I want to hit before rolling up a release.

thanks, it was my intention to do it, then I solved uninstalling the plugin and re-installing it.
