Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I checked and all 15 books (plus 2 extra: Tale of the Witch Doll and The Vanishing Houseboat) are available here at Mobileread. The books are available individually and there's also an omnibus with all 17 books.

FYI, in the U.S. there are a lot of "Megapack" books from Wildside Press in various genres available at Amazon and BN, for 99 cents. Search on "Wildside" "Megapack" and you'll get compilations of mysteries, Westerns, science fiction, works by various authors, etc. All seem to be public domain titles.

I haven't picked up any of these yet so I can't comment on the formatting or proofing.

Thanks for the info!!! I just had to buy a few of them. I LOVE hard case crime books so much. If anyone likes hard boiled/noir crime fiction then do check them out, they are all great books!
