Atunah, you're welcome. I actually read the first one a long time ago and remember liking it so I eventually will get to the others[Blood Like Poison trilogy]. And I agree, I used to fall for $.99 deals way too quickly. And as I found last week, a deal is only a deal if the book is good. I read 3, make that 'DNF' 3, last week that had all been $.99 [bought a long time ago] and just were not worth it at all. So far my sticking to the 'it has to be rated over 4 at Goodreads' has helped a lot [since I implemented it, for me it has served well]. Hence why I only succumbed to the 2 I did today [both were rated over 4, the others I had looked at were not so I just passed]

I replaced the covers in Calibre with the original color versions for the ones I purchased. They still look like category romance covers, but at least a bit more individualized.

Okay, this makes it even funnier! I was legitimately wanting to help and instead played right into "blame it on the enablers". You shouldn't get a time out - you should get a point for proving just how hard we try to get people in front of the books we all can't stop buying!

For those of you who haven't spent enough money already today. Diesel's having another sale through the end of the month.

The first 2 books in Kristen Ashley's Chaos series are $2.70 (normally $3.99). These are Grand Central releases so they aren't couponable at Kobo or as far as I've been able to tell, available at Kobo at countries that do allow coupons .

There are also a bunch of Loveswept titles, normally $2.99 on sale for $2.18 - $2.58 with $0.10 in reward money. Not an awesome price but good since nobody else discounts these except for publisher sales. Among them is About Last Night by Ruthie Knox $2.18.

I bought Amy Andrews' Flirting to Win on the daily deal and seems to only have one novella, Bargain in Bronze, and previews of the other two. The Amazon order page clearly indicates three novellas in one anthology.

What do I do now, coach? Is this an Amazon issue or Entangled Indulgence?

It's Entangled. they have a novella line. Bargain in Bronze is the name of the book. Flirting To win is a series name.

I would suggest contacting Amazon, I know they're good at refunding if something's wrong, but maybe they can actually get you the book[s] you're supposed to have received. Good luck!

I am so far behind. I apologize for not posting any good freebies. I know I am missing out on some. Hubby is just now starting to go up and down the stairs on his own. I've been a 24 hour nurse with only getting cat naps in between. In the past 48 hours I've had maybe 6 hours of sleep. (not in one sitting.)

It's really something to see your great big husband who always so strong and so independent be helpless as a baby. Luckily this lasted on 24 hours. He is now getting restless and I may have to hog tie him down so he doesn't rip his stitches.

I should be back tomorrow to my old routine. I miss it.

I hate being out of routine too, hopefully you can get back some semblance of it tomorrow, after a [hopefully] good night's sleep tonight. Hang in there!

Priority #1 - take care of You so you can take care of Hubby! Try and get some rest. Speaking from experience, my Hubby was a big baby after surgery so totally understand what you are going through. Don't get me wrong, didn't mind one bit as he needed some TLC but it can be draining.

You'll be back to enabling, I mean corrupting us, sorry, i mean bringing us Goodies in no time! LOL, we miss you but take care!
